Birth registration appointment
Under normal circumstances, the birth of your baby must be registered within 42 days (6 weeks).
Babies born at the Milton Keynes University Hospital will be registered with us. However, if the birth was at home, or elsewhere in Milton Keynes, please check that the exact location is within the Milton Keynes registration district. Births must be registered in the district that they occur but as some addresses with a Milton Keynes postcode are not included within our district it is best to check.
If you wish to register a birth in accordance with the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 2008, or have any questions about same sex birth registrations, please email us at registrars@milton-keynes.gov.uk.
