A notice is a legal statement that must be given individually by each of you.
Milton Keynes registration service is unable to refund any pre-paid fees if you:
do not attend your appointment;
arrive late, not allowing sufficient time to conduct the appointment;
do not bring all of the documenation required;
have not decided where you wish to hold your ceremony;
do not meet the residency requirements
If we are unable to complete a notice of marriage appointment for any of the reasons listed, you will need to make a further appointment and pay the relevant fees again.
Demand for appointments can be high so do plan ahead as a ceremony cannot be confirmed until notice has been given and a schedule issued after the notices have been displayed publicly for 28 or 70 clear days.
Notices are venue specific and valid for 12 months so please ensure you do not make an appointment more than 12 months ahead of your ceremony date.
